The hand that rocks the cradle usually is attached to someone who isn’t getting enough sleep ~ John Fiebig, Author ~
From the truly indulgent, to the very French, this year for Mother’s Day the Emporium Hotel has all bases covered to ensure Mum is pampered and spoilt, as she should be.
For the indulgent on Mother’s Day…
The Emporium Hotel has created the Exquisite Mother’s Day experience – a night in a majestic King Spa Suite, a complimentary Molton Brown bath gel gift, a box of Belle Époque French Patisserie’s famous Macaroons, and bottle of French sparkling wine, priced at $329 per couple (so Dad can share too!).
The good news is, if your Mum can’t experience this treat on Mother’s Day (Sunday, 8th May), a voucher can be used as a Gift Certificate*. And if the Exquisite Mother’s Day offer doesn’t quite compensate for all those assignments she secretly did, or all the loads of washing she sorted, then further enhance her stay with indulgent add-ons from the ‘Pure Pamper’ menu including Champagne breakfast for two served in-suite, one hour full body massage, one dozen long stemmed red roses, and his and her Emporium Hotel bathrobes.
For the High Tea Mum…..
For Mums who want just a little window of decadence, away from the world, the Emporium Hotel Cocktail Bar has a selection of delicious High Teas available. High Teas start from $35 per person and include a glass of sparkling on arrival, ribbon sandwiches, scones, petit fours, Twinning’s Tea and freshly brewed coffee. High Teas available from 11am on Sunday 8th May and pre-bookings are required.
For the Mum who loves everything French….
The patisserie that has everyone talking and foodies in a frenzy, Belle Époque French Patisserie at Emporium Hotel, is celebrating Mother’s Day 2011 with a selection of beautiful macaroon gift boxes and specially created French pastries along with French Champagne and wines available on Mother’s Day. Belle Epoque Patisserie is open from 7am until 5pm on Sunday 8th May.
One needs only to swing open the doors to see that Belle Époque Patisserie @ Emporium Hotel has a certain je ne sais quoi about it. That something is the exquisite French interior design complimented by the ‘miam’ French Patisserie items. The Patisserie’s authentic French style pastries are crafted daily by talented Pastry Chef, Nick Tierney, and boasts traditional recipes that can be difficult to experience anywhere else in Australia (he highly recommends the Mille-feuille and the Raspberry Framboisier Cake next time you are feeling a little French, and his personal favourite – the specialty macaroons!).
Located in the heart of Brisbane’s stylish Emporium precinct – a haven for lovers of fashion and food – the Emporium Hotel is just minutes from the Brisbane CBD and close to the Brisbane Cruise Terminal, Brisbane Airport and Gateway arterial linking the Gold and Sunshine Coasts.
