The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, William and Kate are likely to boost the Australian tourism industry by millions of dollars, after profiling some of Australia’s most beautiful sites and attractions.

Tourism analysts believe that the royal visit could add AUD $50-60 million in tourist spending mainly from the UK, News Corporation reported.

William and Kate’s visit has included viewing of Opera House, Taronga Zoo, the Blue Mountains and Uluru among other sites.

According to travel website Trivago, Australian destinations have already seen a 41 per cent increase in interest and Adelaide a 213 per cent increase.
