Soneva, the world-leading luxury resort operator, has announced details of its Easter program across its three barefoot luxury properties in the Maldives and Thailand, including dining with Michelin-starred chefs from around the world, world-class wine tastings and a focus on family-friendly activities. On Easter Sunday, April 1, 2018, “The World’s Greatest Easter Egg Hunt” returns to Soneva resorts, complete with tons of grand chocolate prizes to be won.

At Soneva Fushi, Easter guests will embark on culinary adventures and dance to the grooves of the renowned French-American party band ‘The Phly Boyz’ with three of the world’s finest chefs: Chef Kenji Gyoten (of Restaurant Sushi Gyoten), the youngest Japanese chef with three Michelin stars; Chef Claus Meyer, co-founder of the trend-setting Noma in Copenhagen, as well as Bolivia’s best restaurant GUSTU and the Michelin-starred Agern and Great Northern Food Hall in New York City; and Chef Max Mascia, of the two-Michelin-starred Ristorante San Domenico in Imola, Italy. Guests will also have the chance to participate in a one-of-a-kind dining experience that involves cooking over molten glass in So Glassycle, the only glass studio in the Maldives, located on-property at Soneva Fushi. Other highlights for kids of all ages include a papier-mâché egg-making workshop, games in the resort’s massive Children’s Den, a children’s Mocktail Party in the on-property Observatory and visiting magicians and ventriloquists.

At Soneva Jani, Soneva’s newest overwater villa resort in the Maldives, guests will be able to indulge in everything from a Cocktail Journey, followed by a Maldivian cuisine pop-up, to Peruvian dinners, Indian cooking classes, wine tastings and cocktail- and pizza-making classes. Other activities include water polo, night paddle-boarding and guided snorkelling. At Soneva Kiri on the unspoilt island of Koh Kood in Thailand, guests can experience pit cooking at the beach, have dinner in a local fisherman’s home, learn to cook Thai cuisine with the world-renowned Chef Benz, or learn how to make organic coconut oil. Younger Soneva guests can look forward to Thai arts and crafts, a butterfly quest, a fishing trip, Easter egg painting and a junior cooking competition.
