Collette announces resignation of General Manager
Alison Mead, General Manager Collette Australia, has announced her resignation to focus on family priorities, to take effect in mid-April.
A well-known and highly respected member of the travel trade, Mead served as a judge at industry awards and has had a long involvement with the Australian travel industry.
“We’ve been delighted with the growth and opportunities which Alison has created for Collette since she launched the brand locally in 2014. We are sorry to be losing such a talented leader who has established strong partnerships and solid growth for the company in Australia,” said Christian Leibl-Cote, Senior Vice President of International Business for Collette.
“I enjoyed bringing Collette to life in Australia, and I am deeply grateful for all the opportunities I have had during this time,” said Mead.
“The generous support provided by Collette as well as the strong culture of family, friendship and customer service have all been instrumental in making this such a satisfying position. Our highly trained team will be very effective in taking the company to the next level,” added Mead.
James Hewlett and Amanda McCann (Heads of Marketing & Sales respectively) will lead the business growth and the teams locally going forward with Christian Leibl-Cote, Senior Vice President of Collette’s International Business being responsible for the overall business.
