The Administrative Professionals’ Week (last week of April) was established by the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) in 1952 to recognise secretaries and administrative assistants for their contributions to the workplace.

Known as the unsung heroes of the office, secretaries and administrative assistants play an integral role, anticipating the needs of their bosses, meeting deadlines and keeping the office organised.

General Manager, Mr Rainer Tenius says, “At Swissôtel Merchant Court, Singapore, we recognise the commitment and contributions of secretaries and administrative assistants to the workplace and would like to take the opportunity to pamper them and celebrate their achievements during Administrative Professionals’ Week (23 to 27 April 2018). As administrative professionals play a support role in the office, their efforts often go unnoticed and unappreciated.”

Tempt her palate with perennial Peranakan classics such as Kueh Pie Tee (crispy pastry shell filled with cooked shredded turnip, prawn and egg), Black Fungus Kerabu Salad (spicy and tangy salad with black fungus), Nyonya Achar (Straits Chinese spicy mixed vegetables), Ayam Buah Keluak (chicken braised in a thick, spicy tamarind gravy with Indonesian black nuts), Babi Pongteh (Nyonya style braised pork with fermented soy bean sauce), Nyonya Chap Chye (mixed vegetable stew) and Steamed Fish Nyonya Style.

She’ll be enthralled as our chefs dexterously dish out Mee Rebus, Yong Tao Foo, Mee Siam, Nyonya Laksa or Penang Laksa from the interactive live noodle station.

Continue the gastronomic odyssey with vibrant flavours from around the globe such as Roast Duck, Stuffed Crabmeat in Shell, Braised Broccoli with Mushroom, Tamarind Prawn, Roti Prata, Vietnamese Spring Roll and more.

A meal is never complete without desserts. For a sensational finale, tuck into Kueh Dadar (sweet coconut pancake), assorted Nyonya Kueh, Bread and Butter Pudding and the signature Durian Pengat (creamy durian purée).
