South African Airways supports SA Express passengers
As of yesterday the 24th of May, 2018, the South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) has suspended all South African Express flights. This will not in any way affect SAA’s operations and has no reflection on the operations of SAA. SA Express is a state owned subsidiary of SAA.
SAA has activated its business continuity teams to implement contingency plans for SA Express passengers who may have been affected by the suspension and is working closely with SA Express to provide all required and necessary assistance.
SAA has an interline agreement with SA Express and has mobilised teams at the airports to assist the passengers.
In line with SA Express’ compensation policy the airline will accommodate passengers on other airlines and refund tickets.
