Emporium Hotel South Bank announces a new partnership
Emporium Hotel South Bank is delighted to announce a new partnership with Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art (QAGOMA). Effective 1st July 2018, Emporium Hotel South Bank will be recognised as QAGOMA’s official Hotel Partner for its schedule of major exhibitions and events for the 2018/2019 financial year, including The 9th Asia Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art (APT9) and the 2018 Brisbane International Film Festival (BIFF).
Located at the southern gateway to South Bank in Brisbane, within Anthony John Group’s $600m Southpoint precinct, Emporium Hotel South Bank is a short walk to QAGOMA. The 143 suite new boutique luxury hotel will offer special accommodation packages for gallery customers, as well as a concierge service for purchasing tickets on behalf of guests.
Peter Savoff, General Manager, Emporium Hotels, said the agreement matches two of Brisbane’s best visitor experiences.
“We are thrilled to partner with QAGOMA, which is undoubtedly one of the country’s most outstanding and innovative arts and cultural institutions. This partnership comes at a particularly exciting time for us as we prepare to open the doors of our flagship, Emporium Hotel South Bank,” Mr Savoff said.
“QAGOMA will present The Brisbane International Film Festival 2018 in October and The 9th Asia Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art (APT9) from 24 November, 2018 – 28 April, 2019, two major events that will attract thousands of local, interstate and international visitors to the precinct.
“QAGOMA and Emporium Hotel South Bank are dedicated to providing the highest standards and offering a unique and truly memorable experience. We are excited to invite QAGOMA patrons to experience Emporium Hotel’s award-winning style, service and extensive food and beverage offerings overseen by the Gallery’s former Executive Chef Josue Lopez.
