Seychelles Tourism Board launches new destination website

Seychelles Tourism Board (STB) launched their newly designed Destination Website on Tuesday 29th May 2018 by the Minister of Tourism, Civil aviation, Ports and Marine Mr Didier Dogley along with the CEO of STB Sherin Francis.

The new website has been completely redeveloped from months of research benchmarking with a number of Tourism Board websites such as Australia, New Zealand and La Reunion. The site is fully responsive, therefore will adapt to any size screen it is displayed.

A host of new features have been added such as an advanced search option on the home page of the Website, a 360 Video gallery, a re-designed interactive map, a dedicated blog site, hashtag page and a new gallery section.

Users can now search by island or activity/attraction/restaurant/accommodation straight from the homepage of the Website making the search for information on the site much easier.

Users also now have access to a selection of 360 videos and images of the destination, giving them an immersive 360 view of the 3 main islands of Seychelles. The option of viewing the 360 degree content in a VR headset is also available.

The Website has over 1500 listings of accommodations, attractions, activities, restaurants, walks and trails, operators etc and the launch of the new destination website will now mean STB will offer a dedicated Destination Website and Corporate Website which is fully responsive as well as a with a Destination smartphone app.

The Website can be visited on www.seychelles.travel
