Perth Resort wins Hall of Fame
The 2018 AccorHotels Pacific Franchise Awards were held in Melbourne on 23 January as part of the Group’s annual franchise conference attended by over 100 franchisees, and the Perth’s Novotel Swan Valley The Vines has won the Hall of Fame Award – jointly – with Novotel Lake Crackenback Resort & Spa
The awards recognise outstanding performance and achievements of the group’s franchise hotels. The awards were presented by Olympic medallist, sports presenter and CEO of AFL’s Women’s League, Nicole Livingstone alongside AccorHotels executives.
The Hall of Fame award recognises a franchise partner who demonstrates the company values and has been with AccorHotels on the journey since the early years. Joint-recipients Novotel Lake Crackenback Resort & Spa and Novotel Swan Valley The Vines have been with AccorHotels since 1993 and 1998 respectively and have both undertaken major projects to develop their properties to highly successful venues for events and leisure activities.
“The Novotel brand has enabled this hugely popular Resort to maintain consistency with an international brand, leverage their vast sales and marketing tools and personnel and support our teams with training and international know-how,” said Mike Stanton, General Manager at the Vines.
AccorHotels Pacific Chief Operating Officer, Simon McGrath, said “Our franchise hotel partners are an important and valuable part of our business and it’s fitting that we recognise their outstanding contribution at our annual conference and awards night.
“We congratulate all our franchise award winners and look forward to another exciting year ahead of growth in our franchise portfolio,” concluded Mr McGrath.
